Celebrity weddings are everyone’s fave, especially when it is one celeb marrying another! But there are some celebrities who are on our screens for years now and have yet to tie the knot. Some are sworn bachelors and bachelorettes while others may be in long-term relationships but aren’t interested in tying the knot. It must be pretty hard as a celebrity to find someone you know is interested in you, and not just your fame and money… But as a lot of us know, marriage is also about taking a chance on love and that doesn’t mean it is without challenge. George Clooney was a bachelor for quite some time before he settled down with the love of his life, so who knows when some of these celebs might decide to do the same, if at all!

Owen Wilson

The “Wedding Crashers” actor Owen Wilson has resorted to living the single life and as a single father at that. For now, that is working out for him, but we are not giving up on the thought of Wilson getting married, seeing he noted several times that becoming more emotionally vulnerable is the way forward. Maybe we should just call on his popular on-screen wife, Jennifer Aniston, for a “blind date”…?

Naomi Watts

When Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber broke up, it was a shaker for most of us as they seemed so perfect together. Their public appearances made such an impression, especially while on the red carpet, as parents to two kids and living life in New York City. But, as life would have it, their “good life” came to an end after 11 years. Although Watts and Schreiber were never actually married (which makes some aspects of a breakup a little easier) the two still have kids together, meaning they will always be in each other’s lives. Who knows, maybe they will even get back together someday?

Diane Keaton has shown a lot of us that not being married is definitely not a death sentence! She is now in her 70s with a very successful career under her belt, and having raised her kids on her own she claims it has only made her stronger. And, if you ask us, she even wears a suit better than most men in the industry do! Throughout the years, Keaton has dated a lot of prominent actors but has never let the thought of marriage cross her mind. She admitted she was glad she didn’t get married and didn’t think it was a good idea for her to do so, and while she sees her decisions have made her a bit of an “odd woman out”, she has no regrets about it.

Charlize Theron is more inclined to a long term partnership but doesn’t feel attracted to the idea of marriage. She is an actress with lots of accolades to her name, a humanitarian, and a mother of two. A lot of guys do match the kind of standards Theron would look for, but she admits matrimony is not for her. On many occasions, she admitted that having a wedding is not in her plans, but the way her life is with any guy at the moment is how it will remain and for a long time to come.

Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo DiCaprio has had many relationships with other celebrities, with a long on and off love story with model Bar Rafaeli, the two apparently split as there was pressure on Leo to tie the knot and he just wasn’t ready. Since then he has dated quite a few beautiful women, and most recently he made an appearance with a model who is half his age. But it must be hard when the whole world wants to get in on your business all the time! Or maybe marriage just isn’t for everyone!

We all have the experience of bumping into our ex and, of course, it can be awful sometimes. Having to work intensely with them can be a horrifying idea! On the set of Spiderman: Homecoming, Marisa Tomei had to work with TWO of her exes, Logan Marshall-Green and Robert Downey Jr. and she rocked it like a pro, not letting it phase her one bit! Tomei sees herself as a strong woman, accrediting a lot to her growing up in New York. We think her bravery contributed a lot to the stability she has. As for marriage, Tomei admits she’s not a fan of it and doesn’t understand why a lot of women live in the reality that getting married and having a child is the only way they will feel complete.

Sarah Silverman is known for her jokes, but it seems her jokes about getting married held a lot of her truth too. She has made her opinions known about going down the aisle and saying “I Do” and even taking on the name of “Mrs.” one day. For her, a long term relationship is more satisfying, seeing marriage as an issue set up by the patriarchy. Silverman has declared marriage is archaic, often used as a form of control by men over women, and adds that she can’t understand why she would want the government in her private business. However, she added before anyone takes her on about her comments, it is just her personal view, and she is more than happy to see others get married. But, it is just one of those life activities she won’t be a part of.

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick were one of television’s most loved celebrity couples, a lot of people loved and admired them, and when that relationship ended so many wished they would get back together! Even though they are currently seeing other people, we must say the potential of them getting back together is still high and hopeful, especially as they share three beautiful kids together. But we wish them happiness whichever way they go…

John Cusack has had a lot of on-screen marriages and relationships. The popular actor has starred in a lot of our favorite films, including “Say Anything” as Lloyd Dobler, “High Fidelity” as Rob Gordon and “Serendipity” as Jonathan Trager. Though in reality, it seems that marriage is not for him. Cusack has not made it known whether he desires to get married or not because he tends to keep his private life pretty private. But, we are not worried too much as long as he keeps satisfying us with the perfect romance-filled movie scenes.

The actor was once married to Cameron Diaz, but after their divorce in 1998, we have not seen or heard much about his personal life. Also, as to when he will be back on-screen – we don’t know. Dillion has admitted on some occasions that he wouldn’t mind settling down one day and starting a family, but has said that for him, that doesn’t necessarily mean marriage either. For Dillon, he thinks living life his way and not without flaws is his choice and doesn’t tell anyone to follow his trends but to make up their own mind on what works for them.

Oprah’s life is not easy, and what she needs is strong support, of which she is getting a lot. Winfrey has been in the public’s eye for years, and having firm support by her side is what she is most thankful for. Of course, we are not talking about Gayle King, her best friend, this time around, but her love interest, Stedman Graham. The two have been going strong for years, but don’t have any plans to get married any time soon. Oprah has even said that if she had gotten married to Graham, it would have been a disaster. She has also said that she doesn’t want to get married as it would hinder the life and career she built for herself, as well as feeling quite satisfied with the way things are.

Jake Gyllenhaal is one actor who is single for now, but based on “his love for love,” we don’t think that will be for much longer. After years of rumors, Foxx made it public that he and Katie Holmes were together, and they made their grand appearance on the red carpet back in 2019. I guess we can now say they will walk down the aisle together, right? Wrong! Foxx still thinks he was not made for marriage, but with doesn’t disregard long term connections and love.

Don Draper is just the screen character for the handsome Jon Hamm, and his real personality is not as half as serious as the characters he often plays. In reality, Hamm has never been married, while in the Mad Men series he was married and divorced twice. His real-life may have had a few common-law marriages but no legal ones. For 18 years, Hamm and actress Jennifer Westfeldt dated but were never an official item. Maybe if they had gotten married, they would have divorced anyway as the two separated in 2015. They had a child together who spends time with both parents, and even though they are still connected, Hamm is glad he ditched the “I Do’s.”

A lot of us are really surprised to learn that Shakira is not married, but yeah, she isn’t single either. For the last ten years, she has been in a relationship with Gerard Pique, a popular Spanish footballer, and the two share two children. So, with such a connection and the years to count for it, why are they not married? Well, Shakira has said it in her song, “whenever, wherever, they’re meant to be together, and no piece of paper will change that.” For now, it is safe to say the famous singer is “semi-married” and should she decide to walk down the aisle, she admitted it would only be with Pique. Well, they love each other, so we have to let them be.

Winona Ryder

Winona Ryder and Johnny Depp were engaged for three years and even saw Depp adding a “Winona Forever” tattoo to his arm. However, it wasn’t long after that the love affair ended, and the tattoo got some adjustments. Of course, Ryder was heartbroken but later agreed that it was for the best. Ryder is now happy with Scott Mackinlay Hahn, her boyfriend of a few years, and thinks marriage is a risk she isn’t quite willing to take. She thinks that it is better to be single than to be divorced a few times. Plus, she was already married – yeah on the set of “The Guardian” to Keanu Reeves.

Mary Louise Parker

Mary Louise Parker had the attention and sympathy of many people across the world, especially after she broke up with her boyfriend. The split came while she was seven months pregnant, but for now, she has had a great comeback and settled with life in the past. Parker has now given birth and even adopted another child in the process as she feels this is a strength in her love of motherhood. However, Parker somehow blames her father for her picky choice in men as he behaved too “high and mighty,” thus making her expectations too high. But, for now, Parker admits that is the least of her problems.

Sheryl Crow is a single mom, and based on what we see, she loves it out of this world. And, for the time she is away from mommy duties, she focuses on her songwriting skills. Her take on marriage? Well, it is not a “gone idea” as she still thinks it may be possible in the future.
Crow has been engaged a few times, and she notes should her next love come around, she would approach it differently. She added that if she were that close to marriage, she would just skip that process and go straight into marriage. It sounds like a good idea to us, and if Crow wants to go with it…we support her!

Let’s start sweet: Watching the bonus season of Gilmore Girls had us all emotional and in tears, as we beheld a beautiful wedding between Lorelai and Luke. That wedding just has us on a wild imagination trip to see what actress Lauren Graham would look like as a bride. Unfortunately, we won’t see that for now as she is not intrigued by weddings.
Graham and actor Peter Krause have been dating for over ten years and have made their relationship official without the need to have proof on paper. In a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the actress admitted they are both happy the way things are and would have it no other way. As such, we, too, have no issues with it once they are comfortable.

Lucy Liu lives life according to her own rules, and for that, we admire her and the coolness she operates with. For Liu, she didn’t find it interesting to go the traditional way of motherhood, so she agreed on a gestational carrier birth. Of course, she is loving the single life and with her friends on board, what else could she ask for.
However, the actress has not said much about her love life or anything as it relates to marriage. But, from the way she became a mother, we can conclude that she will go the unconventional way for her relationships as well. After all, when she needs a break to unwind or for a date, she has a lot of “babysitter” friends.
