With over sixty miles’ worth of beaches to choose from, this South Carolina gem has every seaside pleasure imaginable on offer. Whether you want to catch some waves on a jet ski, wine and dine on some of the tastiest seafood in America, or just want to recline on some toasty white sands. This is a very affordable and varied holiday destination, perfect for any type of beach enthusiast.
Miami
Building on our love for beaches is the city of Miami, where you can lose yourself in a dazzling array of entertainment and culture, beyond sunny reclining. If beaches aren’t your thing, you can always immerse yourself in the city’s Art Deco Historic District. Here you will find multiple treasures from this early 20th-century architectural movement. Then there is also the Everglades National Park, which hosts a unique kind of heavenly greenery and wildlife. Just don’t get too close to the gators!
Portland Main
This is a prime destination for foodies. The Old Port brings a variety of refreshing lagers and microbreweries, not to mention a bustling café and fine dining scene. Then there is the Portland Museum of Art, as well as the opulent design of the Victoria Mansion. For some tours of the Old Port’s dazzling scenery, head to the Eastern Promenade, or organize a tour of Cape Elizabeth and the stunning Casco Bay Islands.
