World Conscious
Having grown up among so much grand and natural beauty, Ted soon grew a strong sense of protectiveness over the world around him. He then developed a radical type of activism called “billboarding.” This involved him and his pals attacking and taking down the advertising in their area. This radical form of activism would give way to a more sensible and organized role within Oceana, an oceanic protection charity, as a board member.
Parallel Universe
In another life, Ted was a successful athlete. During the beginning of the 60s, the tall and muscular man topped his childhood basketball team. During his time at Stanford University, however, he fell in love with drama after never having considered it before. When he shifted to Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Mellon University, in 1972, he achieved a bachelor’s degree in drama. It seemed like he had found his niche and passion in life!
